Heyy, it's been a very productive day for me so far. The last thing left on my list of things to do is create my first post of any real meaning. At the moment my blog is looking very bare, hopefully with this next post it should be a bit more interesting :).
So below i've added some photos that i think are examples of ingenious advertising. All in the area of typography. All of them speak for themselves as to why they are included. Hope you enjoy them as much as i did!!

Sooo, the other day I was sitting on my sofa, thinking about studying while watching something I wasn't remotely interested in on TV - and then it came to me - "WRITE A BLOG" I shouted as I leapt into the air and thrust my fist towards the ceiling with jubilation.
Well... not quite like that, however I was sitting on my arse when the idea to write a blog nestled between the hemispheres of my brain; come to think of it, I was watching TV too. The important thing is what I was watching...
From an early age i've been interested in creativity, and by creativity i mean anything that's been formed using the big mushy thing between your skull. I'm intrigued by new, innovative products, and by music that affects the senses - but one of my main interests, is the affect something visual like an advert can have on a person; so it wasn't until the advert below came on screen and i started to think that my interest was probably more like a passion, that i thought "You know what... I'm going to share with people the things I love and maybe they'll start to feel the same".
That's why this blog is called CreativeTub, because its a big, robust, metaphorical tub of creativity.
Quite romantic really.
Oh yeah i forgot to mention, i'm aiming to try and post as frequently as possible, hopefully a few times a week at least. However, i'm currently studying at university so this may be hard to do from time to time.
When i start to get a few posts under my belt i'll put some pages up with all the things i've posted about such as music, design, advertising, typography etc. This shouldn't take me too long and will hopefully make it much more enjoyable!
